Executive Committee

HAB45 is governed by a strong Executive Committee made up of leadership and decision-makers from key healthcare and community organizations serving families with young children in Contra Costa County, California. The Executive Committee provides oversight and sets the overall strategic direction of the collaborative. We also work closely with our longtime advocacy partners Rising Juntos to center the experiences and priorities of low-income families in Contra Costa.

Leadership Council

The Leadership Council acts as our community sounding board. In 2007, our Leadership Council provided invaluable guidance and consensus in the development of our original Action Plan. Now, we ask the Leadership Council to help with implementing our plan and principles within the wider community.

Our Council represents the work of more than 80 community agencies. Members meet biannually to help us overcome barriers and celebrate program successes. Membership is by special invitation.

As a Leadership Council member, we ask that you:¦

  1. Integrate Healthy & Active Before 5 into the practices and policies of your agency.
  2. Promote the Healthy & Active Before 5 principles through your collaborations, conversations and correspondence.
