Climate Resilience for Contra Costa Communities

Climate change threatens the health and well-being of young children and their families due to poor air quality, wildfire risk, high temperatures, and water shortages. Solutions must center BIPOC and low-income communities which are most likely to be impacted.

In November 2022, HAB45’s Leadership Council heard from Dan Peddycord, Contra Costa’s Chief Climate & Health Policy Officer. You can view the recording and slides from his presentation for more on how climate impacts health.

Stay tuned for more information on how HAB45 is supporting our partners to build climate resilience for Contra Costa families.
