As advocates for young children and their families, we are deeply concerned about the current political climate and policies surrounding immigration. We know that many families in Contra Costa are living in fear of deportation or persecution. We want to ensure that families feel safe accessing parks, libraries, child care, health care, and other public services they are entitled to.
We strongly support efforts for immigrant justice here in Contra Costa, and we want to make sure our Leadership Council members and partners are aware of the many resources available. If you are involved in an advocacy effort to protect immigrant families and would like us to get involved, please contact us here and let us know!
